Tackley is a large village about 10m North of Oxford just off the A4260 road from Kidlington to Banbury. With a station on the Oxford to Banbury line it enjoys the benefits expected of a country village including a magnificent Church set in a landscape which appears unchanged for hundreds of years, pubs, shop and a number of businesses. The Coffee Shop/Post Office is a good place to stop for a sandwich and coffee?

Why not visit this little known location and maybe sit on the village green for a while and watch English village life go by, a jewel of the Oxfordshire countryside. Nearby is the town of Woodstock, famed for Blenheim Palace, home to the Duke of Marlborough, birthplace of Winston Churchill.
